Welcome to my world. This is where you can read about monogamy and long-term committed relationships, about writing erotica, about Israel and Israeli food and sure, you can read my writing.
Yeah, okay, I know I gotta write something about myself, so fine, here it is:
I’m not an American. I’ve lived in Israel for most of my life. So don’t expect my English to be perfect. I’m married to an American, and he’s the smartest decision I ever made. We’ve been together for over thirty years and I love him to bits.
I’m a divorce mediator and a marriage counselor and I write detective novels. I love my clients but I NEVER try to convince them to stay married. If they suffer together, then going their separate ways is better. We try to do it with the least amount of harm to them and their children.
I’m also a lawyer, and a Jew, and what’s worse – an Israeli. That means that I’m going to be IN YOUR FACE. I don’t know any different. There is no Hebrew word for ‘subtle’, so this should give you an idea.
I’m open and friendly and very curious, so basically I’ll talk to anyone about anything. Hopefully, you won’t get bored with me.
And I listen. I’m really good at that.
I can be a bitch, remnants from my litigation years, but most of the time I’m harmless. My husband says that ever since I stopped litigating, I’ve become a much nicer person (my husband is almost always right, which makes living with him really good and seriously annoying, all at the same time).
I’m a mom of three, and those kids are the pride and joy of my life. They are so much better than me that sometimes I simply stare at them, in utter disbelief.
I NEED to write. Having you read my stuff is a very nice bonus that makes me hover above ground. Seriously. I started writing erotica and discovered that it’s great fun. I love it. I seriously hope you like what I write when it comes out shortly.
I love to cook and bake and you will always find home-baked bread in my freezer, next to the ice cream that my hubby made.
Above all, I love people and I can never get enough of human interaction.
I go to bed every night hoping that new ideas will come to me in my sleep, so I could spill them onto my screen the next day.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope I can give you something that you will enjoy, or learn from, something that you will take with you. If you like my stuff – please tell your friends.
And please tell me what you would like to see more of in my blog. Do not hesitate to ask questions, make comments, anything goes.
Love,
Callie
